Technical Problems

Sorry we haven’t had any new podcasts for the last couple of weeks, but we’ve been having some technical problems. Hopefully they’ll be fixed soon and we’ll be back on schedule. Stay tuned for several podcasts comparing first pages of classic and contemporary novels in different genres. Also, feel free to comment and let us know what subjects you’d be interested in hearing about in the future and what authors you’d like to hear from. Thanks for your patience!

Oh no! I hope they get cleared up soon. I’ve been wondering why you’ve been so quiet lately.

Some of the subjects I would like to hear about are: more about publishing and contracts and how to increase your chances of getting published, specific genres and how to write them like mysteries and historical fiction, writing good descriptions and dialogue, writing non-fiction.

The people I would like to hear from are Brandon Mull, Tyler Whitesides, Phillip “Big Dog” Jones and the unique method he has used for writing and publishing his stuff, and I would like to hear from someone at WiDo publishing to talk about being published at a small publishing house.

Hopefully those are helpful ideas. Good luck with your technical problems. I hope you get back up and running soon.

Thanks for your comments. We hopefully we’ll be up and running again soon. We have a couple of earlier podcasts on writing historical novels and mysteries, but we could always do more on that. Publishing and contracts would be a great topic to cover that we’ll put on our list. I’d love to get Brandon Mull. We’ll try. I’ll check on the others too.

Glad you guys didn’t get swallowed up by the Bermuda triangle! Hope to have you back on the air soon. As far as ideas for new podcasts, I’d love to hear about pen names, and about writing in someone else’s universe. Also, about getting an agent, and about contracts. And about choosing titles for books.

Thanks for your ideas John. We’ll add those to our list of future topics.

So, how’s it going? Any word on when you’re returning from hiatus?
